Born and raised in the Grand Rapids area, I married my high school sweetheart, Linda, and moved to her hometown of Holland. Here, I began my professional career in the field of engineering. I spent 18 years designing tool and die as well as automating many of the automotive, furniture, and food processing facilities well known to West Michigan.
During this time, I was elected to a local public office to oversee the operation and welfare of our township. Much of my time as Township Supervisor was spent planning land use, and helping property owners get the most out of their land while still maintaining our cherished rural character. A large focus was working together with our neighboring communities to make West Michigan a great place to live, and visit.
Searching for a way to meet the technological demands of Michigan’s rural communities, I formed a partnership that successfully developed a system that would provide ultra high-speed Internet over long distances. Once deployed throughout West Michigan, this technology brought an inexpensive Broadband option to many rural communities.
Being a Real Estate professional has been a natural extension to the career path I have enjoyed. With a strong background of effective creativity, a love for the outdoors, and a deep respect for this place we call home, I offer a unique approach to any Real Estate opportunity.
